Hi, I’m Charlie – thank you for exploring my Chit Chat!

What makes me “qualified” to discuss style and fashion?

Probably not much.

I’m a normal 30-something year old who has a normal job and lives in a normal house.

But whoever said “normal” wasn’t glamourous?

I believe that style, much like charm, is inherent, can rarely be learnt and definitely cannot be bought.

You either have style or you don’t, simple as that.

Chit Chat Charlie was born of the attempt to offer salvation to my long-suffering husband, who is tiring of feigning interest in my latest style obsessions (although I am still expected to perform similar rituals over the latest drone / bicycle / computer of his heart’s desire, naturally). Perhaps simulating the outpouring of my style soul to the whole world will do the trick…and maybe someone, at last, will answer.

Style bloggers are usually wealthy, outrageously attractive or at the very least kooky. But, you did read right: I have a “husband”…and a dog, a house, a job… not very glam, I’m sure you’ll agree.

When I am not attending to the various exhilarating attributes of semi-rural British life, I am usually to be find coveting, critiquing or crushing over some new item. From Matalan to Miu Miu, Warehouse to Wang, my radar is always on.

So, what does a girl like me have to say about fashion, style, celebrity?
